The Irvington resident isn’t returning to her job as moderator on the daytime chatfest. She is making an appearance on the ABC show on Monday to promote her production company’s new documentary “The Woman Who Wasn’t There,” which will air on Investigation Discovery.
When we chatted with Meredith recently, the TV host dished about what it’s like to return to the show she cohosted for years.
“It’s fun to go back,” she said. “When you leave someplace, you have a lot of second thoughts. I didn’t watch the ‘Today’ Show for a while after I left and the same with ‘The View.’ You sorta get bummed out because it was such a big part of your life. But now I can go back very comfortably and see my buddies, especially Joy Behar. Joy and I are are very good friends. It’s nice to do the show and it’s fun to watch too.”
