Yes, Tom Cruise will be at Pleasantville’s Jacob Burns Film Center on Tuesday night for a special advance screening of his new movie, Jack Reacher, followed by a Q&A session with Cruise and the film’s director, Christopher McQuarrie.
Unfortunately, if you don’t already have tickets, catching up with Mr. Cruise will be a mission impossible…the 7 p.m. event is already sold out.
The movie is an adaption of the popular Jack Reacher novels by author Lee Childs, about an ex-military policeman investigating a case involving a sniper who kills five seemingly random people.
Paramount Pictures postponed a planned Dec. 15 premiere of the film in Pittsburgh following the tragic school shooting in Newtown, Conn. The Film Society at Lincoln Center pushed back a screening this week as well. The movie opens nationwide on Dec. 21.
