Martin Scorsese is turning his expert eye towards Bill Clinton: HBO has announced that one of the legendary director’s next projects will be a documentary on the 42nd president, made with Clinton’s full cooperation.
“A towering figure who remains a major voice in world issues, President Clinton continues to shape the political dialogue both here and around the world,” said Scorsese in a statement.
“Through intimate conversations, I hope to provide greater insight into this transcendent figure.”
No word yet on when Scorsese will begin shooting – or when the film is expected to air. But we’re guessing that camera crews may be arriving soon at the Clintons’ Chappaqua home…
