She won’t be flying there with an umbrella, but legendary actress Julie Andrews will arrive in Larchmont for a book signing at the Voracious Reader on Monday, Feb. 4.
Accompanied by her daughter Emma Walton Hamilton, The “Mary Poppins” and “Sound of Music” star will autograph copies of their new picture book “The Very Fairy Princess Follows Her Heart.” It’s the latest in their best-selling series ”The Very Fairy Princess.”
The book signing begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m.
The Voracious Reader is located at 1997 Palmer Avenue. The bookstore welcomed Newberry Medal-winning author Jerry Spinelli on Sunday.
