Ossining Town Supervisor Susanne Donnelly couldn’t believe her eyes after crews for Fox’s new hit show “The Following” worked their production magic at the town’s old police station this week, setting the scene for an upcoming episode of the serial-killer drama.
“It’s amazing inside,” Donnelly told LoHud Lowdown. “They took something that had been emptied out and made it a police station again.”
The cast, which includes Kevin Bacon, filmed scenes for “The Following” there on Monday and Tuesday. And Donnelly says they might return for future episodes.
It costs $1400 per day to rent out the 8,340 square-foot, one story facility on North State Road, which was put up for sale last year after Ossining merged its police force with Westchester County’s.
“We’re open to them or to other shows,” she said, adding that the two-day filming was a boost to the local economy.
For example, The Tuscan Grille was rented out for two days so the show’s catering company could come in with their own food.
This isn’t the first time “The Following” filmed scenes in Westchester. Kevin Bacon and the cast have also visited Bronxville and Rye.
