How did the most famous dads from the Lower Hudson Valley celebrate Father’s Day? Let’s just say there was plenty of food involved. Here’s the lowdown!
Diddy had a Father’s Day meal fit for a king — his children threw him a royal brunch!
The rapper and businessman , who grew up in Mt. Vernon, shared photos of his Father’s Day celebration on Instagram Sunday. Diddy’s children — Justin, Christian, Chance, D’Lila, Jesse James, and Quincy Jones Brown (from his ex-girlfriend Kim Porter’s relationship with Mt. Vernon’s Al B. Sure) — all wore crowns for the occasion. And it seems Dad was crowned king! Click here to see the adorable photo!
“So happy and so blessed,” Diddy wrote.
On a more somber note, the former Westchester paper boy took a moment to remember his father, who was killed when he was three.
“I miss not having a pops,” Diddy wrote. But he’s always with me !”
“Celebrity Apprentice” star (and Nyack resident) Stephen Baldwin didn’t dish about his Father’s Day celebration on Twitter. But his gorgeous teen daughter Hailey gave us a glimpse of his food-filled morning on the video-sharing app Vine.
But was Stephen caught texting at the table? See the hilarious video below.
We’re not sure if Rob Thomas’s son Maison, 15, spent the day with dad, but we do know where the Bedford resident, lead singer of the band Matchbox 20, spent Father’s Day.
“Had dinner at (The Bedford Post Inn.) Always great! Happy dad day everyone!,” Rob tweeted.
Rob doesn’t talk about his relationship with Maison often, but he did tell People magazine last year: “I love being a father. He doesn’t like when we’re out and people want pictures. But the more he starts to like girls, the more he’ll start to like my job!”
The “Keeping up with the Kardashians” star spent Father’s Day with his daughters Kendall and Kylie at the Beverly Hills Car Show, according to a tweet from Kendall. His son Brandon Jenner was also there for a day of bonding with Dad. (Click here for photos.)
But there was no sign of Bruce’s handsome son Brody Jenner, who recently admitted on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” that he and his father didn’t have the best relationship was he was young.
…plus shout-outs to Dad
Celebrities’ less-famous dads weren’t left out of the Father’s Day lovefest on social media.
Outasight shared a Father’s Day treat with his Twitter followers: an article featuring the Yonkers-raised rapper/singer and his father in the Journal News.
“Think my dad enjoyed being in the local Westchester paper today for Father’s Day. Happy Fathers Day to all,” he wrote along with a photo of the article. (Glad you liked it, Outasight!)
Mamaroneck’s singing phenom Carly Rose Sonenclar, who was also featured with her dad in our Father’s Day piece, tweeted “Happy Father’s Day to my amazing dad and all the dads in the world.”
New City’s Skylar Astin, star of “Pitch Perfect” and “21 and Over,” tweeted this message to his father: “Happy Fathers Day to Barry! Best dad! Best coach! Best friend!” Read more about their father-son bond on Lohud.com.
