Performing This Weekend: Jon Lovitz
Best Known For: From 1985-1990, Lovitz made us laugh on ‘Saturday Night Live’ with characters like Tommy Flanagan, The Pathological Liar. (We all remember his catchphrase, “Yeah, that’s the ticket!”) The comedian also appeared on countless TV shows and starred in movies such as “High School High.”

Q: What are some of your favorite topics to talk about on stage these days?
A: I make fun of my self, language, politics, religion, play the piano and sing funny songs.
Q: Is anything off limits in your act?
A: Not really. If I think it’s funny, I put it in the act.
Q: Who are some of the comedians who inspired you to become a standup comic?
A: Woody Allen and Lenny Bruce.
Q: Name three celebrities who have given you great material over the years.
A: President Bush, the Octomom and Bob Saget
Q: If you weren’t a comedian, what do you think you would be doing for a living?
A: I did it. Crap jobs at $5 an hour for seven years.
Q: What are three things people would be surprised to learn about you offstage?
A: I play tennis pretty good, I’m taller than people think and they always say I look younger in person.
Q: Do you have anything coming up that you would like us to know about?
