Gym, tan…blood-soaked laundry?
The Seaside Heights fun we watched on MTV’s ‘Jersey Shore’ has taken a terrifying turn with ‘Jersey Shore Massacre,’ a comedy-horror film that spoofs the MTV reality show. Produced by ‘Jersey Shore’ alum Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley, it follows a group of tanned, fist-pumping pals who become the targets of a deranged killer while on vacation at the Shore.
Rather watch two hours of ‘Sharknado’? You might want to give ‘Jersey Shore Massacre’ a chance when you find out it stars two local actors.
White Plains resident Giovanni Roselli plays Tony, a principal character in the film. In real life, the Harrison High School and Sacred Heart University grad is a wrestler and popular fitness coach. (And you can’t have a ‘Jersey Shore’ reality show or spoof without a guy with great abs.)
Greenburgh native Danielle Dallacco, who has made appearances in TV shows including NBC’s ‘Law & Order: SVU,’ is also one of the film’s stars. The recent college grad plays a character named Teresa, who ‘Jersey Shore’ fans might compare to Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola.
The movie premieres with a red carpet event on Tuesday, August 19 at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater in Manhattan and exclusively on DirecTV. But you’ll have to wait until August 26th to see the film on DVD, Blu-ray, iTunes, and on Demand. Find more info at the Jersey Shore Massacre website.
