The fall semester doesn’t begin until next week, but there has already been plenty of action on the campus of Purchase College in the past few days.
The upcoming Starz drama ‘Flesh and Bone,’ created by ‘Breaking Bad’ writer Moira Walley-Beckett, was on location at the SUNY college. Scenes were filmed inside the Performing Arts Center and Passage Gallery was used as a makeup studio.
“Flesh and Bone’ follows a young ballet dancer with a troubled past who joins a prestigious ballet company. The dark series will take a gritty look at the world of ballet.
The Purchase shoot wraps up filming for the show’s first season.
“Final days of filming season one of #FleshandBone,” Walley-Beckett, who is nominated for an Emmy for ‘Breaking Bad,’ tweeted on Thursday. “It’s like running as marathon: seeing the finish line gives you a little burst of energy!”
