Yonkers’ own Mary J. Blige is headed to the Tribeca Film Festival.
The singer’s new documentary “Mary J. Blige – The London Sessions” will be a part of the festival’s Special Screenings section — five films followed by live performances. Blige will take the stage after the the documentary’s world premiere at the Beacon Theater.
The film follows the soulful star’s musical journey in London, where she recorded her 13th studio album last year with the help of some of Britain’s top musicians.
