Fox won’t put ‘Sleepy Hollow’ to sleep, after all.
The mystery-adventure series, set in the Westchester town and loosely based on Washington Irving’s classic tale, will return for a third season. And Fox announced Tuesday that ‘White Collar’ producer Clifton Campbell has signed on to be the show’s new executive producer and showrunner.
The network is also planning more changes for ‘Sleepy Hollow,’ which had disappointing ratings in its second season.
“We’re trying to return the fun to it a little bit,” Fox TV chairman and CEO Dana Walden said in January. “It’s an epic battle between good and evil, so there’s a tendency to be a little dark.”
