Well, that was faster than some people finish unpacking all of their boxes.
In 2013, Rosie O’Donnell broke the news to Suburbazzi that she was saying goodbye to Nyack, her home of almost 20 years, and moving to Saddle River, NJ.
“My son has some learning stuff and there’s a great school,” she told us at the time. “We needed to be in that school district and also to be closer to where my ex lives, in order to make it easier for the kids.”
Now, less than two years later, O’Donnell has put her New Jersey home on the market. The former talk show host wants $6.975 million for the six-bedroom English Country-style estate, which she purchased for $6.375 million. There’s no word yet on where she might be moving to next, but she could consider returning her Rockland roots.
“I lived [in Nyack] for almost two decades and it really feels like home,” she told us before her move in December, 2013. “I’m going to miss it a lot, truthfully. I love Nyack.”
But choosing a new place to call home might be the least of O’Donnell’s worries these days. The talk show host, who quit her job on ‘The View’ after returning to the daytime show for only a few months, is in the middle of a nasty divorce from her wife Michelle Rounds and fighting for custody of their daughter Dakota.
