Where my plaques at? That’s what “Where My Dogs At?” rapper DMX really wants to know. The Yonkers-raised hip-hop hitmaker, who is serving a six-month jail sentence in Erie County for failure to comply with a family court order, is reportedly “livid” that his son Xavier Simmons is trying to sell the commemorative plaque he received on the strength of his first three multiplatinum-selling albums.
DMX, 44, says he left the plaque behind when his ex-wife Tashera Simmons kicked him out of their Mount Kisco home in 2007, TMZ reports. But it popped up on eBay this week with a starting bid of $3000.
“This is [DMX’s] son,” the listing says. “If you follow the media then you know we don’t have the most amicable relationship.”
Xavier, 22, and DMX appeared on an episode of the OWN Network’s “Iyanla Fix My Life” in 2013. But even tough-talking self-help guru Iyanla Vanzant wasn’t able to “fix” the troubled rapper’s life or his relationship with his estranged children and ex-wife.
DMX, who has had several stints behind bars, has been jailed since July when he was arrested in Buffalo for failure to pay child support in one of his family court cases.
