Sorry, it isn’t the rumored “Breaking Bad” spinoff you might have read about. But yes, Aaron Paul has a new series that is headed to Hulu. “The Path,” originally titled “The Way,” started filming in Nyack last month. And the Marydell Faith and Life Center has become one of the show’s regular locations.
Suburbarazzi has confirmed that after shooting scenes on the 38 picturesque acres owned by The Sisters of our Lady of Christian Doctrine, “The Path” plans to return for regular shoots until January. The show has already received a 10-episode order from Hulu for its first season.
According to Hulu, the Jason Katims-produced series “examines a family at the center of a controversial faith-based movement struggling with relationships, marriage and power. Each hour-long episode will take an in-depth look at what it means to choose between the life we live and the life we want.”
Michelle Monaghan, who plays the wife of Paul’s character, has been soaking up her serene surroundings while shooting the show.
“The only thing missing is a tent. #countrygirl #myhappyplace #thepath,” she captioned a photo on Instagram.
