Time to celebrate with a cone in Croton? Blake Lively just scored a People’s Choice 2016 nomination. The Westchester-based actress is nominated in the Best Dramatic Movie Actress category for her role in “The Age of Adaline.”
In order to bring the trophy home to Bedford, Lively will need to beat Dakota Johnson, Jennifer Lopez, Kate Winslet and Rachel McAdams. Voting is underway at PeoplesChoice.com.
Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds is already a People’s Choice winner. He won in the Favorite Superhero category in 2012 for his role in “Green Lantern.” Despite a critically-acclaimed performance in “Mississippi Grind,” Reynolds did not receive a nomination this year.
The People’s Choice Awards 2016 will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on January 6. The star-studded ceremony will air live on CBS.
