She knows how to throw parties and she knows how to throw shade, so would Bedford’s Martha Stewart be the perfect addition to Bravo’s “Real Housewives” franchise? “Real Housewives of New York City” castmember Bethenny Frankel thinks casting Stewart would be a great idea, but the “Skinny Girl” cocktail mogul has her own reasons why the domestic diva would fit right in with a cast of bickering businesswomen and socialites.
“She doesn’t like me. She never really has,” Frankel, who was the runner-up on Stewart’s 2005 spin-off of “The Apprentice,” dished to talk show host Seth Meyers . “She could get paid to rip me.”
“She’s always been like a parent that I’ve always tried to get them to love me, but I gave up on that a couple years ago when I had my own show,” Frankel explained. “She just never misses the opportunity to say something negative about me or my products.”
Stewart appeared on Frankel’s short-lived daytime talk show in 2013. “It felt like you didn’t like me to be honest with you,” Frankel said during their awkward interview.
“You were a pest,” Stewart responded.
Even though chances are slim that the homemaking mogul would even consider joining “Real Housewives” (Sorry, Andy Cohen), do you think Stewart would be the right fit for a drama-filled reality show? Tell us in the comments.
