Will it be a new year and a new disappointment for Meredith Vieira?
According to the New York Post’s Page Six, the Irvington resident’s daytime talk show will be canceled in 2016. Insiders tell the paper that the low-rated program will get the ax early next year.
“The Meredith Vieira Show” premiered in 2014. At the time, it was meant to be a charming chatfest with a homey atmosphere. In fact, Vieira’s set included old furniture pieces from her Westchester home.
The show was revamped in its second season to include a “View”-like chat panel at the start of the show. However, ratings did not improve for the former “Today Show” host.
A rep for the show has not confirmed the show’s cancellation. Suburbarazzi will keep you posted.
